Curiousity lead me to the Feldenkrais Method…
I am now a certified and insured Feldenkrais practitioner and a member of the Feldenkrais Guild UK (currently the Chair of the Guild Committee).
I have a Feldenkrais practice in Sussex near Lewes, and am passionate about gardening, keeping bees & walking the Downs, hence my workshops for gardeners and walkers! I love working with anyone who is interested in learning about themselves and how to enhance their lives whatever their challenges might be.
As well as this I have coached performers at the National Opera Studio London, the Opera Academy Warsaw, Poland, The Valentine Voice Care, Lewes centre and Excellenz-Labor Oper in Germany.
My previous professional experience informs my creative approach to the Feldenkrais Method
Throughout all my work I have been excited by the hunger we all have for transformation and development throughout out lives.
My background is in opera and creative learning. I was a staff director at English National Opera for 12 years, where I co-founded and co-directed the Baylis Programme which is the Learning and Participation Department of the company. I later worked for Youth Music where I lead a research programme called Singing Communities and I was a Creative Agent for Creative Partnerships.
Other organisations I have worked with include
Royal Northern College of Music in the School of Vocal Studies
The Jette Parker Young Artists Programme
Royal Opera House London
The Grotowski Institute in Poland
Bordeaux National Opera
The Music Department, Royal Holloway, University of London
Glyndebourne Festival Opera
